Lost and Found
This book is a pleasant read for any Ruark fan... or any hunter,
for that matter. Comprised mainly of old magazine articles and flavored
with other insightful texts, I consider it a must-read for any Ruark
devotee.
Although the editor of this book, Jim Casada, notes
that "this is the first volume" of a series of collections
of lost Ruark classics, I haven't seen another volume come to light
since this one was first published in 1996. I am ready to pounce
if future volumes ever do hit the bookstore shelves, if this book
is any indication of the quality to be expected from them. My thanks
to Jim Casada for finding these lost classics!
I recommend reading this book immediately prior
to Horn
of the Hunter, as I did this, and was immensely pleased.
